These six perfectly proportioned baskets are made with cherry bases and handles; brass ears; and cane staves. The baskets range from 3” to 8” in 1” increments. The perfect set of baskets for the avid Nantucket basket collector.

Our 8” round lidded basket with handle doubles as either a sewing basket, or a purse basket. The turned top with knob adds a special charm.
This beautifully crafted 3” diameter basket. The base is a smaller version of the pedestal on the Candy Bowls, but the lids differ in that they do not have a knob, but have either a carved bone rose, a shell, or a small round scrimshaw. We offer them in a variety of woods, including, but not limited to: birds eye maple; curly maple; Brazilian cherry; domestic cherry; figured Bubinga; quilted Sapele; and walnut.
This set of baskets, created in 2004, and in 2007 were awarded the Award of Excellence at the Winter Park (Florida) Sidewalk Art Festival. They each have an ivory overlay which have a delicate floral pattern. Sandi Beauleiu, of Acushnet, MA was the scrimshaw artist. The baskets are constructed with cherry staves, bases and handles, and are woven with cane. The handles are attached with ivory domes and the bottom basket has a set of ivory feet. The baskets range from 3” diameter to 12” in 1 ½” increments. This set of baskets has developed a beautiful, rich brown patina which will only get deeper with time.

A three-tiered Epergne Tray, the bottom basket is 15” in diameter; the middle is 10” and the top is 5”. The featured tray is constructed with a walnut pedestal base; the other bases are walnut and the center and top pieces are walnut. The staves are maple and each basket is woven in cane and the rims are walnut. These trays are also available in cherry and maple. Call for pricing and availability of alternative woods.
