Interested in learning to make your own Nantucket Lightship Basket?
We regularly hold classes/workshops for students who want to create their own Nantucket Lightship Baskets.
Previous basket weaving experience is not necessary. Classes begin on Friday at 9:30 A.M. to 4:30 P.M. and continue at 9:00 A.M. to 4:00 P.M. on Saturday. We will schedule finishing dates for any unfinished baskets.
Our classes are held at our residence in Ocala, Florida.
Class fees range from $120.00 for a 6″ round basket – our recommended ‘beginner’ basket, up to $210 for larger baskets. Call to reserve for our April 2012. Classes fill up quickly and the early bird catches the worm!. To guarantee a class, a deposit of 50% of the class fee is required. Call for availability and class fees.
